After owning four M cars I had high expectations for this V8 version of the M3. Well, let me tell you something... this car is the single greatest M Car ever to be built by BMW. Everything that was annoying in the old M3 (SMG, exhaust note, etc) has been fixed. Everything that was great about the old M3 (pretty much everything else) was improved... dramatically.

The M-DCT transmission is a thing of beauty. Getrag outdid themselves on it. As a matter of fact, it's the exact same transmission that is in the new Ferrari California.

There is nothing more that can be said about this car other than it is true perfection. I bought it in April, 2008 and took delivery in SC at the BMW facility. What a terrific experience that was!
