Savanah 2000: October 5-8

This was my first track event and it was incredible! I had no idea that the F355 was such an amazing car and loved every minute of this weekend event. Some highlights for me were:

• Racing my car on track with the assistance of driving instructors (Holland is awesome). Without the instructors the track time would not have been nearly as rewarding.
• Having Holland race my car around the track with me as the passenger (holy crap!) I couldn't breathe through most of the turns.
• Getting a ride from Bill Djang in Bill and Wendy's awesome F40! When those turbos kick in you actually swallow your tongue.
• Excellent social events with an exceptional group of people.
• Getting to see (and HEAR) an F333 race around the track against all the excellent sport class drivers in their beautiful Ferraris.
• Having my wife tell me she wants to take racing school classes!
